Calibra Electric Industries confirms its commitment to ACME HSE Standard S-HSE-VND Rev 6 throughout manufacturing, factory testing, transportation and on-site activities. Lifting plans for off-loading and positioning of transformers at site shall be approved by the Buyer’s HSE representative prior to mobilisation.
Grain-oriented silicon steel laminations are received under controlled humidity, inspected for surface integrity, and trim-cut against the design lamination plan. Step-lap mitres are applied at corners. The completed core is stress-relieved at 200 °C for 4 hours.
Continuously-transposed conductor (CTC) is wound on machined formers under controlled tension. Inter-disc and end-disc insulation is applied per the design pattern.
Tank welds are X-ray inspected at agreed points. Hydraulic pressure test at 1.5× design pressure for 30 minutes. Vacuum dehydration prior to oil-fill.
Six internal QC gates are observed: design freeze, material acceptance, core complete, winding complete, tank complete, and pre-FAT. Each gate produces an internal QC certificate.
Off-loading from the low-bed truck uses a 250-tonne mobile crane. The lift plan is reviewed by the ACME HSE representative prior to mobilisation. Spotters are positioned at all four corners of the pick-up area.
Transformer is rolled to its plinth on greased steel skates with a hydraulic push-pull unit. Final positioning is confirmed against the GA drawing.
Vacuum oil-fill is performed in three stages, with degassed oil pumped through a vacuum-treatment plant. Final oil sample is analysed for moisture and breakdown voltage prior to energisation.
Commissioning follows the SAT procedure agreed with ACME. Insulation resistance, ratio, oil DGA, and online DGA functional tests are performed. The on-site commissioning engineer is on-site for 5 days per unit, billed at the rate in §9 BoQ Item 5.
